If SLU were in the MVC, I think they'd probably rank somewhere in the 4-7 range. I agree that it's not a longshot to expect Bradley to win, but it's also not surprising they lost when Bradley has been playing like a Thursday night team. It's hard to win when you commit 19 turnovers, regardless of the lead you might have.
