Drake continues to struggle. Bulldog fans, how many games are you guys realistically hoping to win this year?

They don't quire look early-era-Kanaskie bad, but I don't know that they look significantly better either.

I'm happy for UNI's 7-0 start. It's good for the league and they're doing what they need to do to position themselves for a potential March bid. With that said, they have only 2 wins over teams with winning records and while both are "P5" schools, they aren't really basketball powerhouses and expected to be serious contenders in their conferences. Also, not many teams lost in front of UNI this week. People sometimes forget that part of the equation.

If UNI wins out, including the VCU game, then they will be ranked.

Losses for # 22, 23, and 24 are important. The others don't matter too much. UNI was essentially 31 in the AP this week, so those 3 losers probably bring UNI to # 27 or 28. Poll mechanics don't really start working though until you are actually in the T25.

UNI is better than Creighton, I'll just put that out there

Agreed 100% there. I'd even take the Panthers in Omaha.

I expect at least 5-6 wins this year (already beat IUPUI; hopefully they beat N Dakota, Jackson St, and Simpson at home; and at least 1-2 wins in MVC play). That better than the 2 and 3 win seasons of the darkest Kanaskie days, but hoo boy.

Drake will be better next year when the transfers are eligible and the youngsters are another year older, but realistically there's nowhere to go but up right now.

I still think Gia is on the right track. The track is just much longer than I thought it would be.
