#23 Butler at INS about to tip off, no TV for the game, except in Indy. Pray for us MVC brethren! LOL

Actually if we can shoot better, have fewer turnovers, hit FT's, and have fewer fouls, we may have a chance

oh well, as expected ISU shooting poorly, lots of turnovers, playing poor defense as well and Butler has already run away from us, leading 20-8 and we haven't had the under 12 TO yet.

This the best Butler team I have seen, since their Final Four teams.

and your final from Terre Haute

Butler 77
Indiana State 54

ISU 38% FG
25% 3 point FG
55% FT
outrebounded 39-26
16 turnovers

just flat out an ugly game

Pretty safe to say we will be playing on Thursday in St Louis

PowderBlue and I had an issue before because I said something similar at the start of the season. We worked it out, but this is just not going to be a pretty year for ISU. ISU's OT win over IUPUI is now against a 2-4 team that were blown out in Drake's only win of the season and look ready for another 300 RPI season, and their other two wins are against teams that are 2-5 and 1-5 against D1 competition. All three of those teams are hovering around 250-325 RPIs, and ISU isn't too far off that themselves.

ISU lost too much from last year's team. Too many lost minutes and points, and Odum was simply a stud. ISU's not a team that's able to reload.

Still, you've got a very good coach for what you pay him. I think ISU's stay at the bottom of the conference will be quick.

I remember the PowderBlue remarks. I also remember the FearDaTree remarks.

Both posters have been absent for a quite a while now. Bandies.

PowerBlue and I chatted by PM. He said he was being oversensitive. He's good people ... I wouldn't lump him in with FearDaTree.

Agree, this isn't going to be a good year for ISU, I highly doubt we get to 10 wins, it really appears were are that bad. It's sad after being really good and competitive for the last 4-5 years, gaining national attention grabbing wins, etc....that in one fell swoop we fall all they way to the bottom of the MVC.

We simply do NOT have ANY shooters, just noone who can hit shots. We really needed the McIntosh kid, who verballed to ISU, then landed at Northwestern after he de-committed.

Well, we'll suffer through this year and hope we can get better in 2015-2016. We do have players who will be able to play next season who will be a tremendous help!

Loyola loses to Tulane. Need WSU win at Utah to break even on the day. SIU beats SIU-E, but let a 27 point 2nd half lead slip to 12 at the end.
