Terrible!

I tuned into espn 3 awhile back ready to root on the redbirds. After about 2 minutes of listening to this ISU announcer I found myself almost rooting for VCU. This announcer is just about impossible to stomach.

Me too but I was hoping for a Valley win by the Redbirds. Too bad they blew a 12 point lead.

That was the absolute worst. I too felt compelled to root for VCU in the end just to shut the hunk of junk up.

First, almost everyone a part of Redbird Nation hates Bob Morrison as one of the announcers, he is awful. Second being at the game, other then the students the fans did not support the team in the lower bowl very much. The old time donors down there did nothing during the game, but then decided to stand and clap to the fight song. That is just unacceptable, for a non-con home game vs a consistent tourney team and one that made the Final Four. Third, even though there was some questionable calls (THERE ARE EVERY GAME!) we lost because we had 24 turnovers! We had more TOs then FGs made! And 15 of them were unforced

You guys just don't understand the game at the same level as he does. He has such a feel for the game that he doesn't need to see it to know what happened.

I think some officials have that "feel for the game". I always liked the announcer from Bradley called "coach".
