Probably the best thing you can hope for if you're a mid-major wanting to play Illinois or Xavier. If they rack up several bad losses to these sorts of schools, it might swing the pendulum back towards stronger schedules for power 5 schools and away from horrid schedules like the one Indiana has (last I looked it was ranked #295)

Was the UNI/Denver game the slowest-paced game ever? UNI shot 70% from the field and hit 19-23 FTs and still ended up with just 65 points.

I firmly believe there is a nationwide conspiracy theory to drag down Wichita's SoS this season. Thanks, Tulsa and Nebraska. Also Colorado lost at home.

At least Utah won at BYU.

At least Tulsa doesn't actually hurt as they weren't D1. But yes. Add Colorado to that list tonight. Add in the worst Memphis team in 20 years, and there you have it.

And it isn't just this year.

I say screw it. Pick 12 random teams. Play them. Win them. Move on. The schedule will end up being trash whether we try to put it together well or not.

Denver runs a Princeton offense and Matchup zone on defense, plus we went into stall offense in the 2nd half and only score 23 points. So to answer your question yes.

Thanks. Was kindof my guess. You don't often see that sort of efficiency lead to 65 points. UNI is really rolling. Good for them. Good for the Valley.

I believe both are among the "slower paced" teams in the nation....

Denver is 339
UNI is 342

351 D1 teams this season
