Really did not deserve to win this one. We were quite fortunate, but Rashard Kelly found a way. He grabbed the offensive board off of an FVV missed 3 and put it in for the 80-79 Shocker victory! He finished with 12 and 6. Baker's shot wasn't falling and Carter was in foul trouble. Freshman Zach Brown has also taken on a larger role at the wing guard with Wessel out. He's scored 19 points in 31 minutes of time in Hawaii.

Championship game against GW Christmas Day at 7:30.

I thought that Hawaii played great and was a tough match up. They hit their threes and spread things out and could drive when we closed on them.

I picked 3 losses in the MVC, but if this version of WSU shows up on the road a few times that number may creep up to 4 or even 5.

George Washington is the "better" win in terms of numbers. No problems with that.
