Mark Adams said what I was thinking last week. Wes Washpun is the most improved player in the Valley by a pretty considerable margin.

No. No one else really is.

Washpun went from a guy that turned the ball over all the time and having almost no offensive game to a guy that handles the ball all the time and gets to the rack at will.

Its AMAZING how much better he's gotten in a year...

And he came out of Tennessee with the reputation for having absolutely no jump-shot. I'll let the rest of the Valley figure this one out on their own.

It's not just Washpun's numbers, it's also his energy and leadership. He's been the big difference in two or three close games-- the Richmond game was pretty impressive.

He was fun to watch against vcu basically single handedly kept panthers right with them at the end
