Lusk announced Marshall is leaving, and will get his release if he stays in good academic standing.

He's got 1.4 million dollars between that hot seat and him, it's keeping him pretty comfortable.

Seems like a situation similar to Lowery at SIU. They may know they need to move, but may not be able to pay off the contract in order to do it.

That's correct about the AD. There is a lot of anger towards him (moats) regarding offering that contract. Fortunately for him he just made what looks to be a slam dunk hire for football HC so that is going to deflect some of the criticism.

Can't blame Lusk for signing the contract. He can be blamed for what to this point has been a lack of player development, poor in game coaching decisions, etc, etc.

If the losing and dissension continues it will be interesting to see what happens. It's somewhat different from Barry who always fielded at least a decent team and who was such a personable guy that he had great connections and a good many friends in the community. I'm not aware of that being the case with Lusk.

Maybe this is a turning point for him and the team. For the good I mean. I don't really believe that but one can hope.

Sounds just like the current situation at Bradley.
