Google Ads usually give you ads tailored to you based on your browsing history and location. When I visit the Mecca, I get a lot of ads for things in and around Des Moines. For whatever reason, that UNI ad was something that Google Ads thought would be relevant to you.

If I'm not mistaken, you're an SIU fan....and SIU had just played UNI....I'm guessing you had visited some sites related to UNI.

I've always thought this would be a cool slogan for UNI (and maybe they've already done this or are doing it, and I'm just completely unoriginal, which is entirely possible):

Bradleyfans, aka "The Mecca", had to recently begin using google ads in place of dwindling page hits and unique viewers and a reversal of support for the site.

When Bradley is losing, the Mecca is really dead.

At first I missed the UNI ad.

I thought the humor was BU trying to sell tickets to Arch Madness.

They need to sell tickets to the press conference at the end of the season where they announce their new coach. Les has had 9 years and hasn't demonstrated his ability to put teams on the court that represent the tradition of BU basketball.

I like it, and as far as I know it hasn't been used before.

They went with the name UNI-Dome because it was UNIque. No joke.
