Just curious - what are the redbird fans yelling about Baker? If it's regarding flopping then your are right. I've seen a lot of his games and I don't think I've ever seen him flop.

There's pretty constant allegations of him flopping on their forum.

If I recall correctly, Baker got hit in his face so hard the other day that he chipped his tooth. He went over to the side, spit a piece of his tooth and a mouthful of blood into a cup, and went right back into the game.

Oh you did, ur audiologist, MBA'ers, and Nurses are all slightly slower than WSU's. Looks like u have some real good high school counslers though. Couldn't tell how the eng departments stacked up. Congrats though u guys are certainly the northwestern of normal, very impressive.

What this has to do with ur basketball team I am still unsure.

Your.

Using university rankings to argue IQ is phenomenally weak.

And I say that while holding two diplomas from universities ranked far higher than any Valley school, so obviously I must be right ;)

How else should we measure IQ? It's a safe assumption to say that a large portion of fans of valley teams are alumni, is it not?

University rankings are completely subjective depending on the criteria used and who is compiling the list. Throw in trying to compare public universities with open records rules vs private schools, national vs regional, different major emphasis, etc. etc.----NONE of which actually deal with IQ, which is itself not an entirely accurate measure of overall intelligence, but only one kind of intelligence.

I live in Iowa, the vast majority of Hawkeye fans have never taken classes at the University of Iowa, or even been in Iowa City.

When you think every other fanbase is classless......well. I do not like to generalize fanbases based on the comments of a few online posters, at least not over short periods of time. Especially when that fanbase previously provided some of the best interaction around. I find it interesting that most of the ISUr posters of old no longer post much anywhere, including on their own forum. They seem to have been drowned out by newer, louder, vitriol-spewing folks. So it goes.

The UNI fans on this forum are generally very respectful of all the teams in the league. Sure, they get in their jabs, as we all do, but I enjoy having them around. If they are doing a bit more boasting than usual of late, I will not begrudge them, as their team's 18-2 record and awaiting a firm planting in the Top 20 makes one justified in sticking out the chest a little.

Yea, I've been pretty impressed with the amicability between WSU and UNI fans for the most part this year. I think most recognize it's in each other's best interest for the other to do well except during the 2 games where they face off directly.

I would enjoy nothing more than seeing UNI go 15-3 in the league with their only 2 future losses at the hands of WSU. Likewise, I am sure there are plenty of Panthers who would love WSU to go 16-2, secondly only to a 17-1 UNI.

We all want as much polish as possible on our quality wins.

I find this comment a tad asinine. 2 free throws from an 84%er would have sealed it. Congrats on the W. Next Saturday should be a great one.

If you don't see how this game was lost well before that set of free throws them you might have a lower basketball IQ than Muller.

12 point lead and all of the momentum in the world. UNI goes zone at that point and the game was over. Just a matter how how quickly it swung back to UNI for good. Not only that, Morgan picked up his 4th foul with 5 plus min left in the game and there was no effort made to attack him in anyway

It was clear Muller wasn't going to coach his team to a W. If ISU were to win that it would have been inspite of Muller. Had Muller made any adjustments at all for a zone offense they win.

22 more shots taken, more points off turnovers, more rebounds and yet less FG made and less points scored.

A zone offense that consisted entirely of 4 people standing still and an occasional slow pass from the point to the wing and right back to the point.

Again, the score might not have showed it until late but that game was lost way before that Buss 3 for anyone who knows basketball

This comment makes no sense. The game was won on a shot with 5 seconds left. The game may have turned at the point where UNI went zone but it wasn't won until that 3 ball in the corner. And still wasnt even won at that point yet. A lucky win with 5 seconds left and you are telling me that you won the game already. Is this your first game you have ever watched?
