I guess we have different definitions of a "flop." To me, a "flop" is when you draw an unwarranted offensive foul or when you fall down without any contact at all. You said in your post there was contact, so it'd not the latter, and Morgan was called for a blocking foul on that play, so it doesn't qualify in my book. But that's just me.

There are degrees of contact. Good floppers like Morgan go down at the very minimum of contact.

Marshall was upset alright...that UNI absolutely outplayed and out coached him.

Marshall subscribes to playing defense with grit and toughness. If his players don't have the talent to guard the opposition properly, get better players.

UNI beat us, soundly. Hat tip to the Panthers.

I have not read the thread in its entirety but I did not see much cause for a rock fight during the game. Northern Iowa played extraordinarily well, Wichita State played poorly. The Panthers, Jake's game plan, and the crowd had a lot to do with our poor play.

I am hopeful, if not certain, that the return game will play out very differently. I am also optimistic that if both teams take care of business during February (read: run the table, maaaaaaaybe one loss at most) then we may see Gameday come to Koch Arena.

That would be fun.
