I believe the ISUb announcers said something to the effect of "I don't think we're playing that bad right now, I think they're (UNI) just that good."

Great game for the Birds probably the best all year. Defense was amazing and offense was fluid throughout. Reggie dominated Big E which was good to see. I don't think he will get it because of Cotton and him being well-known as one of the best defenders in the league/nation but Paris Lee should be in serious contention for defensive player of the year.

Interesting sidebar... UNI freshman Wyatt Lohaus was playing in the house his godfather built tonight.

I set the O/U for Bradley points at Wichita at 40...missed by 3. Since it's at home, I'll bump it up to 45 as my prediction tonight. BU isn't scoring 45 against that defense.

I credit the defense that UNI played all night, but that was the worst ISU performance in Valley play this season in my opinion. Time and time again we made dumb errors and couldn't hit an open shot to save our lives. They double teamed Gant and Kitchell in the paint nearly the whole game which led to some good ball movement and open shots, they just couldn't make them. A 5 minute stretch late in the first half was the difference in the game. We never recovered and couldn't get back into the game at any point in the 2nd half. Good game by the Panthers and I anticipate one more matchup between these teams before it's all said and done.....and we know it's tough to beat a team 3 times in a season.

Well, we're now down Anthony Fields as well.

Donte Thomas is starting at the 2 tonight...if nothing else, Bradley is going to throw a lot of height at Wichita tonight. Baker and Cotton are going to see a lot of Thomas and Cunningham....or at least I hope, because the alternative is a walk-on guard guarding Baker, which would be a catastrophe.
