I suppose he needs something to take his anger out in a 30 point thumping. Whatever works.

A Redbird player was also heard celebrating knocking Baker to the ground after giving him a shoulder to the face.

I have no idea about the concussions, just giving a little background.

Or, it could have been that he set a screen that freed Knight for a 3 that closed the gap, if even for a moment. Players get excited over stuff like that. The refs reviewed it and found it to be a legal screen.

Providing "background" about a situation that was reviewed and found to be legal, and a situation with a completely different player in a different situation doesn't work. It makes appears you're trying to say that it's dirty ball when one was reviewed to be legal and the other didn't even warrant a review.

If he actually celebrated potentially hurting Baker as was reported, I have an issue with that. But I wasn't there so I don't know if that's true.

But the screen itself was well done, as long as he didn't him in the face with his shoulder, which the refs ruled he didn't. My problem was with the other WSU players on the floor not warning Baker. That lack of communication nearly got him seriously hurt.

Not being there either I can't say for sure what he was celebrating. I just know how rumors, especially between WSU and ISUr, can get more legs than they should. I agree though, that Baker should have had a teammate warning him. Every player is owed that every play by their teammates.

Yes, sycamores have the clear inside edge at #3 with the sweep over the Birds. Indiana state is looking very good right now.

I can see why everybody's so scared of Illinois State's talent.

The screen was legal. The communication to help Baker sucked. The Illinois State player said "I got him". Illinois State fans can't make up their mind whether to celebrate that Baker got knocked out or if he was "faking it".

Baker didn't fake that one but he has certainly faked others. It seems the refs have wised up to that schitck this year.
