This is the best UNI team I think I have ever seen. Everyone ... maybe even the janitor hit threes.
The Bulldogs didn't shoot that bad, UNI shot better. Congrats!

Yep just another day of the Top 2 showing that they are in a league of their own. Drake might still be a Thursday team but they've shown improvement lately. Panthers made puppy chow of the Bulldogs and the Shockers are ripping apart a struggling Bears team. Bulldogs got as close as 9, otherwise it was consistently a 13-16 pt margin and hold Drake to 53 pts.

UNI 69, Drake 53. UNI came out red hot from 3 and jumped out to a double digit lead early. Bulldogs hung in, and actually got the lead within single digits about midway through the 2nd half after trailing by 16 at half.

Drake's freshmen scored 26 out of the 53 points, and the Bulldogs had 4 freshmen on the floor for about a 5 minutes stretch in the 2nd half when they were cutting into the lead.

Good to see Drake come out and continue to be competitive in the 2nd half after a rough 1st. That is going to be a strong team next year once the experience and gelling takes hold.

I still think Reed Timmer is the top option for FOY. He looks like he's been gaming in this league for years

Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel for Drake. With the transfers next year, they could be very good. The current team seems to be buying in and playing together.

Drake didn't play too bad. I was impressed with their fight. Definitely somethings to look forward to for Bulldog fans.

Got down to nearly 20 to SIU in the first place. That's not a strong-minded team. It's a mindset that is deserving for the Illinois State program.

I know MSU is struggling having perhaps their 4 best players gone to injuries or defections, but I was glad to see our #9-15 players out score the Bears 19-17 over the final 11 minutes.

I'm torn on this subject right now. I dislike Bradley and love seeing them terrible but I think I would like to see them get enough wins to save Ford's job since he is terrible and keeping him should assure they suck for a couple more years at least. :D
