How can you not feel for this fan base?

One word:

TORNADO

:Bam:

Every player except for him and Cunningham have been unavailable for at least 1 game this year. Whether their fault or not, 11 of our 13 guys have not been there every day for this program.

Can you really count Nate Wells? I didn't even think he played any more.

That just drives home the point even more.

Oh and as I type, Donte Thomas just left this game with a finger injury.

Fascinating stuff going on in Peoria.

Grabbed this from http://www.pjstarforums.com/viewtopic.p ... 7&start=75

tribecalledquest wrote:Maybe I'm old fashioned. Maybe braves12 has rubbed off on me :)

But I believe in professional courtesy, integrity, and respect. The world of college coaching and athletics is a small one--you run into people all the time. You may need help from someone at any time.

Message board fodder is one thing. But when potential candidates are telling other fairly visible people that they have the Bradley job, and are making all kinds of arrangements OPENLY then that shows me something. It shows me you have no respect for your peers in the profession. It shows me you don't care about integrity and treating the job, the university, and the people in the job currently with decency.

Am I being overly dramatic? Maybe. But it's bush league.

Chris Reynolds should NOT be telling the coaching staff at Northwestern he has taken the Bradley job. He should not be calling around to people in Peoria. This is a job that isn't even officially open.

Jerrance Howard should not be talking to coaches on the current staff without asking the head coach for the courtesy to do so. He most certainly should not be calling handlers and parents of players currently being coached by Geno Ford. Again, there is a month of the season left. Show some **** restraint. Quit putting yourself first. Let Geno Ford finish out the season. This is a guy you know and have had a relationship with before. Don't you owe him the courtesy to let him do his job until its no longer his job?

As dss said, can't we at least ACT like we are doing this properly? Can we at least let Mike Cross and Geno Ford they know are no longer wanted before we start ******* on their grave and stealing from their casket?

Is this too much to ask of a university that prides itself as a high level academic institution? One with a world class business and engineering school? Do the "decision makers" here need to go take ethics classes on campus?

And then today: http://www.pjstar.com/article/20150211/ ... 130/SPORTS

What I've gathered...

Rumors (with legs?) are swirling that Chris Reynolds will be hired as the new AD and Jerrance Howard, a Peoria native and assistant at KU, will be hired as the next coach. Neither job is open at this time.

Howard hire seems highly unlikely now after this recent report.

Also message board talk of potential coach(es?) contacting parents of current players.

Speaking of Mr Howard, this in the KC Star today. Apparently just trying to help the Peoria economy.

Our fanbase is just bored and wants to run with any info, I guess.

If you're wondering, a certain message board reported that our AD got fired (I use the term "reported" because...well...they used that term when posting it. Reported. ) and was going to hire someone else. They were forced to take down the thread.

So by reporting and retracting, they're trying to make things look chaotic and shady because, well, you all know by now.

Wells seemed to have a pretty good hook shot.

Bradley appears to be a horribly coached team. I think a good coach could make this into a winning team immediately. Fords schemes are non-existent or totally unsuited for his personnel. To give Ford the benefit of the doubt you would have to conclude that he recruited a bunch of uncoachable players, although that seems unlikely.

Why does this team not play full court pressure D? Why don't they push the tempo?

It just keeps getting worse.

Aleggedly the powers that be were all in on Kansas assistant and Peoria Native Jerrance Howard to be the next coach even tho hes never drawn up a play in his life.

Then news surfaces that he was busted for pot IN PEORIA 6 months ago so thats down the drain.

This is so laughable.

I would interview two people...

Jim Molinari and Brian Wardle. Give whichever one wants the job more the job and let BU get back to winning.

But we have small town people around here that don't have a clue how to run things so I'm sure this will all get fu**ed up yet again.
