Call me a fair weather fan but I live 15 minutes from the Scotttrade Center and I won't go watch the garbage that is SIU.

Yeah, that's pretty discouraging.

Illinois state had about 3,000+ in Texas for the football national championship...shame we can't draw more for a 3 hour drive. Of course, it's easier to support a winning team.

ASP#'s are always skewed due to closer proximity fans that go down day-to-day.

Good point. Maybe we should move the tournament so some fans can quit shelling out to watch Drake play Bradley.

The women move to Moline next year. Seats about 10K, decent district of bars, etc. in the area. It's a 1-3 hour drive for UNI, Drake, Bradley, ISUr, Loyola, a little longer for ISUb, about 5 hours for SIU and Evansville, and obviously a long haul for MSU and WSU.

If the conference has a good experience there for the women, I could see them rotating between Moline and Kansas City for the men.

The schools close to St. Louis just don't come like they used to.

My son and I will be attending our first Arch Madness. Being a first-timer I bought my tix through WSU, and with no priority points we will probably have the worst assigned seats in the arena.
