congrats Evansville, you're in the drivers seat now, Sycamores CHOKE at MSU as we always do come this time of year, same thing every year, can't win games that are important.

That ISU performance was terrible...no motivation whatsoever. Gant & Kitchell as usual lead the "dirty diaper" parade. 6'10" & 6'9" w/ 3 reb each - now that's what I call clearing space inside.Funny, but they're always characterized as "big men," but they play PINT SIZED. WTF :o

I do tend to forget how tall Gant and Kitchell are pretty much every single game.

"Don't go bonkers on us, now. We aren't limping anywhere. We lost 6 of our last 8 in '01 and won the tournament. The tournament is a new season. "

Has anyone ever explained the concept of "exception rather than the rule" when applying this? :bounce: Guess which Forum it came from:

1. Evansville;
2. Indiana State;
3. Wichita State;
4. Northern Iowa.

Sycamores could very easily go 0-3 these last 3 games, SIU ALWAYS plays us tough, regardless of where the game is. Barry Hinson has his magic he works against us. WSU will beat us for sure, and the game at Bradley will not be a cakewalk. I hope we win 1 or 2 of these, but will not be the least bit surprised with an 0-4 finish to the MVC season, then one and done in St Louis as a 4 or 5 seed. Once again continuing our annual February collapse.
Just can't figure out why this happens year after year after year.

Come on man! If you don't think you even stand a CHANCE at home against WSU why do you even care where you finish in the standings??? If you can't beat them at home you certainly can't beat them in St. Lou so don't have a chance to win the tourney. I know you'll get called names on here for the mere suggestion of the outside possibility of pulling off the upset, but it's the childlike optimism that makes following these teams fun!

Now please tell me you believe somewhere in your heart of hearts that there is at least a 1% chance the Sycs will beat the Shockers in Terre Haute so I can commence with bashing you.
