Oh yeah, one other thing.... Loyola at ISU was their third-best home attendance on the year after WSU and Bradley.

This is much less true now than it was, say, 20 years ago. The number of students living within a 5 minute walk of the arena is much greater than it was then.

This is very, very true, and it's a huge problem for us. It's hard to attract new alumni and fans to games if attending wasn't part of their undergrad experience.

This is the point I'm at.

I bought into the "potential" that the MVC was selling. The shine of that potential is starting to be seen through now.

You misunderstood if you think we're disagreeing.

Loyola was always a "potential" addition. They have to win to realize that potential. Without winning at a high level they'll never matter in Chicago. And that was the case from the start.
