Laughing at the WSU bench players struttin and posing like they have any effect on the outcome.

Yeah congrats to the senior Wessel for playing so well on senior night and his last home game. I think his offense has been pretty horrible at times the last few years. The rest of his game is always good but when he plays like this on offense he really pushes the Shox up a level IMO.

Wessel's a junior, actually. He got a medical redshirt the Final Four year after getting hurt 8 games in.

He'll be back, and almost certainly the starter at the 3 next year.

Not meant to be today, WSU played really tough and weathered a good run by UNI. Really hoping to see the rubber match in 8 days. Hopefully both teams take care of business.

Crazy to think UNI lost a share of the title on January 1.

Great exposure for the Valley today. The days of token coverage are over, people are really paying attention.

Carter's always been a bit weak. Tuttle just man-handles him out there. Any time Carter tries to cover him Tuttle just backs him down with his hip and shoulder checks, pushes into the paint, and goes around him for the score.

That seems to be why Bush was able to do just fine on Tuttle. Tuttle couldn't physically push him backwards the same way.

Carter's a good four, but he's never had the strength to play the five against a physical player.

Great game Shox! Shot a great percentage.

The rubber match next Sunday should be fun. I actually think Wichita has a tougher road to Sunday, but I think we'll get to see game 3.

Despite some of the comments in this thread about chippy play, I actually thought this was a great hard fought game. Both teams put forth a great effort. It's tough to win on the road, which is why UNI and WSU have shown themselves to be so good!

Hats off to the Panthers. Not too many teams are going to take the Shockers down to the last game of the season for the championship. Seth will be a BIG loss for the Panthers, but with Jacobson as coach, I don't think they will fall as far as many think.

Are some UNI fans really complaining about the officiating? LOL. Good one. Tuttle offensive fouls nearly every time he goes to the hoop.

Also, for as much grief as Marshall gets, Jacobsen sure does whine a lot. I mean A LOT. Even at times when his team is at a 6-2 foul advantage. Pretty amazing.

WSU knew what was at stake and proved to be the better team today and throughout the conference season. Back-to-back was truly special. Just an awesome day in ShockerNation today. So much energy and fun.

UNI has some good shooters and are definitely a quality team. They will be dangerous in March.

Congrats to UNI for representing well today, but WSU continues to dominate this conference. Great game to all!

Seems like a pretty even matchup. Both teams riding great performances and home-court fervor to big wins at home.

Neutral court matchup would be interesting. Both of these teams are great, and can play fantastical ball at times.

Great game. My family is hoarse from yelling almost the entire game. Good game Panthers. It's tough to win in the road. I hope our teams meet in the Lou.

Go Valley!

Go Shocks!
