This will only appeal to a certain demographic but 2 places I have had the pleasure of going to recently were the Silver Ballroom on Morganford and the Orbit Pinball Lounge in Maplewood. Both places have tons on punk rock music on the jukebox and dozens of new and old pinball machines.

Both are less than 15 minute drives from Scottrade Center and would offer something different for those of you that may be into stuff like that.

One note, The Silver Ballroom allows smoking, it can be overwhelming in there at times.

A couple good spots by the AB brewery are Peacemaker (really good lobster rolls, oyster bar) and Bogart's Smokehouse, which has BBQ on-par with Pappy's but better sides IMO. If you venture into the Delmar loop area, Salt + Smoke has probably the best brisket in town. For dinner, check out Franco in Soulard. The Schlafy Tap Room is a good hang-out spot to get some local brews about a mile from Scottrade. Six Row Brewing Company and the Civil Life are some other good local brewers worth checking out within a couple miles of Scottrade.

Charlie Gitto's on the Hill is really good. I heard they had one downtown also.

I've heard good things about Ballpark Village (at Busch Stadium) but haven't been yet myself.

Try The Dubliner pub on 11th St. a couple blocks north of the Omni Majestic.

Fitz Bottling Company in the Loop has the best Rootbeer or other floats I've ever had...

I noticed a gourmet burger place several blocks northeast of the arena. Has anyone been there? Is it worth a stop?

I assume you're talking about Bailey's Range. Definitely worth a stop.
