Ain't getting them any other way.

Serious question. Does the league actually give out championship rings? If so, do they do this for the regular season and tournament?

I believe it is done by the schools, if they can afford it. I believe WSU has done rings for league championships, and did watches for the tournament championship last year, but that may have had as much to do with certain players running out of fingers than anything else.

The league does the watches.

The numbers are pretty close. Throw in not winning the league, and there is a lot of room for doubt.

But, like I said, I don't really have a problem with Tuttle winning it. I do have a problem with Balentine on first team. Would he start for either WSU or UNI? ISUr? Would he play for WSU or UNI? He doesn't exactly have a well-rounded game that includes playing quality defense.

He's a smaller Nate Buss...who didn't get to play until he learned some semblance of understanding sharing the ball, playing defense, and rebounding.

You like using the word "butthurt" a lot. Does this come from personal experiences or preferences or what?

Let's simmer down on the personal attacks, even though we know that's your forte. Never change.

Congrats to those who won, and to those who were on great teams and didn't get individually recognized, best wishes for continued success in the postseason.

Sometimes I wonder if it would be best to discontinue these awards.

Sometimes I wonder if we should just do away with winners and losers all together. We should just congratulate those who tried their best and give everyone a nice big participation trophy.

We all need to be one big happy family and give out hugs and juice boxes to everyone!

Very true. WSU has made the MVC it's b!itch the last two seasons, but Tuttle was without a doubt the best player in the league this year.

I really have no problem with Tuttle as the PoY this year. I may not agree with it, but I don't have a problem with it.

I do believe there is quite a lot of room for doubt.

I'm pretty much in this thought process. Don't agree with it, don't have a big problem with it. Fred probably doesn't win back to back unless he's at 20 and 7 and WSU runs the table again.

We all know the fans nor the players would trade the back to back Championships for back to back POYs anyway.

Interesting stat: Seth received more first place votes than any POY in the past 10 years.

This includes VanVleet, McDermott, Weems, and Adam Koch. Granted the number of voters has fluctuated slightly over the past decade, but this is still quite an impressive achievement.

I would take him 3rd on that list.

The issue I have with the POY this year is that somehow Fred finished 3rd behind Ron.

Also strange to think so many people feel like how your team did is some sort of determining factor. Obviously, voters don't care as UNI had as many players on 1st and 2nd team as a team they finished 11 games ahead of in the standings. They also had fewer players than teams they finished 5 and 7 games ahead of respectively.

They increased the number of voters by almost 20%
