Fixed it for you. 89-3 in games played in. Losses are at UNI, at Utah, and neutral against Kentucky.

Mark Adams is that you?? That's so crazy tho you rarely see that type of record in any sport, quite the career Evan has had thus far

In high school, Evan was a paltry 72-3 with three state titles (the three years in played varsity). He also won a state football championship was was the Kansas High School POY...in football.

Was he injured for the George Washington loss?

I think Morgan and Lohaus have matched their high school loss record at Iowa City West this year already.
[Insert snappy comeback]

He sat out the holiday tournament due to a sprained ankle. In 2013, when WSU went to the final four with a 30-9 record, to begin the year our starters were:

Malcolm Armstead
Ron Baker
Evan Wessel
Carl Hall
Ehime Orukpe

The bench was:
Fred VanVleet
Demetric Williams
Tekele Cotton
Cleanthony Early
Chardrack Lufile

The Shockers started the season 8-0 before Evan Wessel ended his season with a broken hand. WSU lost the next game as Baker went down with a stress fracture. Carl Hall also missed 6 games. During that stretch (without Baker or Wessel) the Shockers lost a total of 7 games. Baker returned for Arch Madness and we made our final four run.

Baker and Wessel have never lost a game in Wichita.

Yep. Also, there is a reason for the loss to GW and generally playing like crap in Hawaii and @Drake. We were down a starter. Not one of the big 3, so few made note of it, but it mattered, a lot.

Ben Jacobson is the 2015 MVC Coach of the Year. His third time (previously in 2009 & 2010).

Ben is a fine coach of a fine team, but my vote--although a homer choice --goes to Porter Moser --He coached a marvelous LITTLE team without the big star, Doyle for ELEVEN games to a sixth place finish --They were picked to finish last.

I can't tell if you're serious.

Jacobson's officially not considered Marshall's peer, then. He's judged on "little engine that could" criteria the same way Moser or Lusk would be.

Every argument for Jacobson begins and ends with "he did a shitty job last year, so he looks better in comparison this year."

Yeah but by that logic Lansing would deserve it before Moser. Finished 3rd and picked 6th I believe. Lost a main piece from the previous year.

Honestly if Marshall didn't get it, which he deserved to, I felt it should go to Lansing. All Jacobsen did was meet expectations. And yes I know Marshall did also. Which is why I mentioned Lansing as a deserving coach....
