The biggest thing I would question down the road, recruiting wise, at WSU is what happens when the power 5 schools start paying players.

Right now I think Gregg is putting together a hell of a program for top 100 recruits to dismiss. But, if the power 5 schools are paying players and the valley says no to it, can he still pull in those top 100 players?

The uncertainty there would make me consider leaving to be on the right side of the line when that stuff goes down. .

WSU has already said they will follow the lead of whatever happens and have been assured the MVC won't stop schools in the conference from doing some.

Jeff Goodman reporting that Texas' top candidates are Gregg Marshall and Shaka Smart and both have heavy interest in the opening.

I wasn't worried about Bama...and wasn't about Texas until it actually opened.

I'm not sure Marshall does leave, but Texas is slightly scarier, now that it's open, than I thought it would be.

Texas is a great job. Big money, live in Austin, great for recruiting, not a ton of pressure. It's going to be hard for Marshall to turn this job down if they do indeed offer him.

I don't think Texas will offer him. I don't even think he will be their first choice.

Its already been reported that Marshall and shaka are the top candidates. I think it would completely change Wichita if Marshall were to leave. I think there's alot of worried people in kansas right about now.
