CU @ UE

Creighton trying not to fall another game behind the leaders. UE trying not to bury themselves into the basement. Creightons inside presence could be too much for UE. A 2-3 start would not be a ba start for UE having played some tough road games so far and beating two solid teams at home.

CU has to avoid the trap of thinking it got over the hump in beating SIU Friday night. This team is not good enough to take a game off - especially on the road. CU has stumbled in the past at EU. Can not let that happen this year if we are going to be in the top 4 at the end of the season. opening the season winning the first three road games would be huger.

Creighton has not been effective on the inside. I'm not sure why, they clearly have the size and athletic ability. CU built their lead with their outside shooting, even Lawson had a 3, but UE continued to play tough in the paint and came back to take the lead. I expect the second half will have CU pressing the inside game. No turnovers for UE at the half and few visits to the foul line for both teams. The second half should be interesting.

CU up by 10 now thanks to a 5pt play. UE player flat on his back under the basket before the shot and the 3-pointer counts and they get a 1-1. Looked like it should have been and offensive foul under or at best like it was called but no 3-pointer.
