Drake just missed knocking off the Iowa Hawkeyes. Hawks win 70-64. Bulldogs win the rebound battle 39-31 which is a real positive. Iowa only had three turnovers. Will be an interesting year.

Bears get annihilated by Valpo.Terrible shooting performance by the Bears. They also got killed on the offensive boards. We are better but not as far am on as some of us thought.

Pretty hard to overstate the importance of that win for UNI. If the Panthers have a successful MVC season and finish near the top, they've got two significant out of conference wins better than almost anyone else they will be compared against on Selection Sunday.
