The Aces missed 19 free throws tonight. Had they hit their usual 75%, the game would not have been close. They looked like a deer in the headlights in the first half, but pulled it out in the second half.

This was the first game against a Lusk defense or you would be shooting better.

No disrespect to the Salukis, who won on the road, but Loyola is a 200+ RPI team. Other than SIU-Edwardsville and UTEP they have been doing that all year.

SIU is well positioned to finish 4th and that's a huge step up from where most everyone had them.

Watching the ISUb coach going against Marty is like watching John Wooden coach against a middle school coach. Aces totally look lifeless and under prepared against the Sycamores.

Middle school coach made adjustments at halftime and thumped John Wooden.

UNI at SIU is definitely going to be the game to pay attention to for the next round of games. Is SIU a legitimate contender or a mirage based on a weak schedule? Can UNI pull it together on the road playing a good but not great team? It should be an interesting game!
