Both teams playing better than expected. Hoping for 10K in the "Q" for the first time this season. With school back in session it shouldn't be hard to do. Let the battle of Maroon begin! :duel:

SIU always gives the Bears fits no matter the records of the two. Being at home though, the Bears should take care of business and win this one by 7-10 points. Don't expect it to be easy though.

Just win baby...Missouri State has never started conference play 8-0 in their time in DI, so that really shows you how hard it is to get very far into a conference season with zero losses.

Can tie their MidCon best start this week, and I'm expecting them to do so. Though SIU won't be easy.

Both teams are playing pretty well. For us to gave a chance MSU will need to have a bit if a hangover from Sunday night in Wichita. I'd like for us to keep it close into the second half and see what happens if we can hit some big shots.

I missed the CU/SIU game live but watched the replay on E3 last night. Seck is turning into a heck of a player for you guys. He really impressed. Great motor and effort to go with his athletic skills. He will be a nice compliment for Teague when the ankle is back to 100%. SIU needs Fay and KBS to knock down some 3s.

MSU is living right on the road these days and Cuonzo Martin is emerging as one hell of a coach. I think SIU has a shot, but the Bears win with Mallet and Weems.

Go Salukis.

(can't believe I just said that)

SIU is who I (some say WSU some say SIU) consider to be our rivalry opponent. Should be a good croud with more enthusiasm than usual. Hope there isn't a hangover from Sunday. No reason to overlook anyone now since all future opponents (for quite a while) seem pretty even. Keep this train rollin Bears!

Wondering why we have an "MSU @ SIU" thread already? We should probably focus on the game at hand, which is in Springfield tonight......and, for which there is already a thread....
