I do not dispute your scouting report. And, if you just look at the stats and early-season film, it looks like a good idea against WSU. But this is a different team now, closer to the one they were meant to be. And there aren't a lot of flaws.

Over the first 8 or so games, WSU was one of the bottom 50-75 3PT shooting teams in the country. Over the rest of the season, they may end up being one of the Top 20 3PT shooting teams.

Our juco PG (Miller) has also been playing well of late. He's not shooting well on the year but he is totally fearless and has hit 3 game winners this year.

Playing a zone will probably be our only chance at keeping it close. If the shox are hot from there then its going to get ugly early but if they come out cold then you never know. I'm sure the Bears will mix it up some by adding in a bit of man to man just to try and keep GM guessing but by and large, we are a zone team all the way this year. You will get plenty of of long range open looks against us.

Yeah he's stuck on the zone. Remember the ISUr game where he stuck with the zone even when they were raining threes?

But I agree the zone is probably our best shot to keep it close against a clearly superior shockers team.
