I would guess the bears have to run zone due to being shorthanded. They can't risk the fouls in a man-to-man defense.

Nice effort for the Bears with a rotation of 7 players.

I am glad that Kendrix is feeling better and was able to play. Hopefully he remains healthy.

Kindof bush league by the coach to say he would not play though. Maybe just put him down as questionable next time.

Good news we beat your JV team by 2 in the last 3 minutes....

Bad news, whoever taught our coach how to run a zone forgot to tell him the high post KILLS ALL ZONES. Every time we play that zone the high post is wide open. I could've hit shots against that defense. On top of that you're not supposed to allow dribble penetration. are we playing the man or the passing lane... godawful zone.

I'd say nice win for the shocks, but really we just hurt you. That's how we get back at you, we drag your RPI down. You're welcome.

Thanks. I have no faith in our HC but I do like a lot of our young players. They played hard and weren't intimidated by a clearly superior Shockers team. Church in particular is just a fine young player. He got posterized by Baker. But he also blocked several shots and altered some others in the lane.

I do think the shox are back on track now that they are healthy. Didn't expect Frankamp and McDuffie to hurt us like that. 2 future all MVC players there. Possibly all American.

McDuffie and Frankamp are figuring it out. McDuffie has the tools to do some silly things in college.

They were both behind Shamet on the depth chart when the season started. McDuffie was WAY behind him.

McDuffie, Shamet, and Frankamp are a very solid core to build a nice soft landing mat for that cliff that WSU is supposed to go off at the end of the year

The Bears PG is very good despite his diminutive statute. I have previously been impressed with Kendrix. While Church can't get his own shot, he was much less raw than I was expecting. Dixon and Kreklow (I butchered that) were nice players with a future. A lot to like about the roster, but one can't help but to believe that the some key pieces will be missing by 2018.

McDuffie, Frankamp, Shamet and Brown will be very good. Unfortunately they all play the wing. Some can play the 1 and some can play the 4, but that's not their best position. Hamilton has the potential to be a special stretch 4, but has further to go. I do like his 4.5 points per game and 8 minutes per game.
