Loyola picked up a big first win at Cedar Falls. Is there a possibility they dont play Thursday?

It's possible. If all things go right, they can finish 8-10:

@ Evansville L (1-6)
vs Drake W (2-6)
@ Wichita L (2-7)
vs ISUb L (2-8)
vs ISUr W (3-8)
@ SIU W (4-8)
@ Bradley W (5-8)
vs Evansville L (5-9)
vs UNI W (6-9)
@ MoSt W (7-9)
vs Wichita L (7-10)
@ Drake W (8-10)

That should be enough to avoid Thursday. Obviously, the real tough ones there are vs ISUr, @SIU, vs UNI but it's possible.

I'm sorry but there's just no way the Ramblers are going 5-4 on the road in conference. You can sell them beating WSU or UE at home (to me at least) easier than a winning road record.

DJ scores 22 and Mock goes 23 pts 20 boards, played 40 and 39 minutes. Will their legs fall off before the end of conference?? Marty's going to get everything he possibly can out of them before they graduate it looks like lol

Good win but it makes me nervous. 5 starters played for 30+ minutes and Brzoja played 21.

That is quite a lot of work, especially to take down a 1-5 MVC team, 250+
RPI squad.

I hope the legs can hold out in February and March!

Have to agree. That would be a monumental turn around.

Looking at this, I don't think he is unrealistic. The only road game I would change is the W@SIU. That would be a toughie, and I agree, I think they have a better chance against Evansville or even possibly WSU at home than a road game in Carbondale. Even with that, 7-11 is much better than it was looking last week.

Why is this a thing? WSU was 30 points better than SIU in Carbondale.
