I guess some UNI fans were complaining about poor sportsmanship when Fred was dribbling, standing more or less in place 35-40 feet from the basket, not passing the ball when he shot as the shot clock was close to expiring. I guess some would have preferred a couple of shot clock violations.

Didn't UNI have enough time on the shot clock on their possession before the last three by Fred to run the game clock under 30? If I'm remembering correctly, if they had held onto the ball a few more seconds, The Shocks would been able to let the clock runout for a 16 point win instead of having to take that last shot.

UNI? They won't make the NIT. No question. 500 teams from the MVC don't make the NIT.
