Finally, some back up from others....CDizzle, WuFan, Stickboy and other WSU fans just defend him or go around his idiocy...they must be used to it on Shockernet. I believe he doubles as ShockerFever over there? Either that or he has somebody with the exact same posting habits....which is scary.

At any rate, Championz typically disappears now for awhile since his crap has been disputed, but he will return when the heat is finally off him in a few days.

If you ignore the troll, they go away. Calling him out isn't going to change his mind. It just creates really long threads about something other than the original topic.

Why?
He ruins threads with his BS. If you ignore it, nothing changes. To affect change, you must take action. Anyone can ignore my back and forths with him. Nobody is required to read it or chime in...but ignoring his trolling and his s%&! does not help this website. We had a thread recently asking why the number of posters have gone down recently....when we allow posters like him, he causes it. Why would people want to post on a website with him involved spewing his nonsense? The moderator gets paid money for the leaderboard banners at the top of your screen...he should want more visits, more sessions, more users to get paid more. Championz is a deterent of that.

I disagree. If you don't think he will go away if you ignore it, he definitely has proven he wont go away if you provoke him and call him out. So barring the moderator banning him, both ways mean he is still here. Ignoring him allows normal conversation to go on with minor interruption from a post you can ignore. Not ignoring him causes threads to become unreadable. You aren't going to change his mind, and he isn't going to change yours. The same with this argument with me and you, So I'll just leave this as my last thought on this topic.

Example: This year ISUr does not match up well with Evansville. We have nobody to guard Mock this year (thanks Reggie Lynch) & if we double down on him Evansville has the shooters to hurt us. If we zone it up once again the have the shooters to hurt us.

Some teams just have another teams number
Example: ISUr struggles against ISUb the last few years. That doesn't mean ISUb has had more overall success.

The thing is .. WSU has the shooters too, they have multiple deep threats ... it just happens that they all were off on Saturday. That's why we couldn't bust the zone. Going 1-14 from 3 in a half will do that.

But that had nothing to do with ISU defense? I was at the game and I believe it did.

Some of the shots yes, but a lot of the 3 point shots WSU took were wide open, and were shots they would normally hit. I give ISU credit for making us take 14 3s in the second half though. We didn't execute on offense at all. I really wanted to see them get it to Shaq or Ron or McDuffie at the top of the key in the middle of the zone more, but we did a lot of dribbling without purpose.

If he really is ShockerFever, I see he gets in arguments quite often with other Shocker posters and he has posted 23K times on that website. That is a habitual message board poster, that may post regardless. But, I get what you are saying. Moving on.

To be honest, both teams really sucked on offense. FVV missed two threes late that I thought for sure were going in. He had an awful game.

ISUr missed layups, dunks, open looks the entire first half en route to 2-23. Disregarding the 2nd half zone, the difference in the game was rebounding and foul shooting.

All of you Shocker fans should be cheering for ISUr to go unbeaten until we play you on Senior night to help that "bad loss" not look so bad anymore in the eyes of the RPI.

Redbirdgrad wrote:Should I have posted regarding this win, gloating? Probably not. We probably lose by 20 on your senior night. But you made it way too easy, and fun, to take a poke at. And by the way... If anyone can wreck a senior night for your beloved All Americans... They'll be flying out of Normal, Illinois............

So you're here everyday but only contribute when Illinois State beats WSU in basketball games. If that isn't the definition of an insecure bandwagoner, then I don't know what does.

So you cry about my "immaturity" and "trolling", but then you get off for doing the exact same thing. So not only are you a bandwagoner, but you're a hypocritical bandwagoner as well. That's just downright hilarious right there. WSU and myself are so deeply rooted inside your head it isn't even funny.

20 points? 20 points if we be nice. WSU will blow Illinois State by 50 if they want to on the 27th. That team is 5th on the pecking order of teams WSU is afraid of seeing. They are a mentally weak team and just not well coached. Their only chance of pulling out these 5 point slop fest victories is if WSU acts like they've never seen a zone before and shoots 20% in a half.

See ya around the next time you win a Super Bowl, bandie.

In the two years since ISUr has upgraded their length and athleticism by adding Hawkins, Mac, and DAP
they have gone 2-2 against WSU. The margin of Shocker victory over the Birds is 8 @ Koch and 6 at RA. They have given the Shockers more trouble than any team in the Valley. The game @ WSU should be just as competitive as the past four.
