It's always tough for the Aces this time of year based on star power floor time, but with the most exciting part of the season almost here, quality teams and players tend to find another gear. I fully expect UE and the birds to fight it out to the end for number two.

If you witnessed last night in person you might have a different opinion on the situation.

Things are not good in ACES camp. Marty quit with about 9 min left in the game, he did the same with about 14 left in the Shox game.

There was no fire last night and hasn't been for some time - starting with @ InSt.

I see 1-4 with the win coming at Bradley.

This is absurd. Aces fans are hyperbolical as can be. We are either going dancing or calling for Marty's head. Y'all need to "smooth out" your emotions.

4 - 1 through the final 5 games. MAYBE 3 - 2, but I wouldn't put cards on it.

Middle / Bottom seed NIT.

The sky is falling in Evansville apparently.

That game is a small factor in your season....Just peak in STL, and avoid the 4-5 seed.

It's the only way you were going to the NCAAs anyway.

Why avoid the 4-5 seed? As proven by the 2015 & 2012 tourney, WSU can be beaten by the winner of the 4/5 game in the tourney.

Sure why not? 2 years out of about 20 is a good stat indicator.

Yes, but let's be honest. Who would you rather play? Shox or ANYBODY ELSE IN THE CONFERENCE in the semis?

Of course if you play weaker competition then it's easier but not as memorable. 2015 & 2012 v. the Shockers & thumping #2 seed Creighton 74-49 in 2009 are great victories that I remember for years to come.

Would you rather have memorable losses or boring wins? I would take boring wins in a heartbeat...or any kind of win for that matter.

In recent history that means it has happen two times in the last four years (psst that equals 50%)
