What player from the Valley would like to go back & see play one last time? Why?

Player from your team:

The one player I would want to see from my own team is Osiris Eldridge. The excitement he brought to every game he played has been unmatched by any player since he graduated. He really made Arch Madness exciting for all fans because at any given time he could throw down one of his amazing dunks. There was just an energy in the air while he was on the floor.

Doug McDermott has to be the one guy from another team. The level of skill & basketball IQ he had displayed from his Freshman-Junior years were once again unmatched by any other player. I hated playing Creighton but I really respected McDermott's overall game.

It would be amazing to see Doug Collins or Oscar Robertson but since I grew up watching the two guys above they would be the two players I think about the most.

1. Cheese - I used to sit about 10' from where he used to set up on offense. He had the moves. He could juke anybody.
2. Jason Perez - No one in the Valley ever had a better nose for the ball except maybe Paul Silas.

1. Nate Funk - Best spin move in the Valley ever.

2. Former SIU point guard, now assistant coach at Loyola. I used to get so upset with him because the Shockers could never get the best of him. He just beat us like a drum on defense and offense.

Oh man so many of them for UNI I would love to watch again. I guess if you made me pick just one I would say Jason Daisy

Despite what he has done against us I will say Osiris Eldridge. Dude was just electric to watch all the time.

My team - Jason Perez

Other team - Tough one, but probably Osiris, with Darren Brooks a close 2nd.

Oooh Darren Brooks was a good one too.

Actually it would be nice too see the half court defense that SIU played in the 05-07 seasons. Their rotations were so smooth. Definitely, the best defensive team I've seen in my time of watching the valley.
