We all cheer for WSU in the NCAAs, every team in the conference benefits from deep tourney runs in terms of financial payouts to the Valley. So, the more who make it the better for the Valley. Ideally, we would love WSU in as an at-large and somebody else wins the Valley tournament....Doug Elgin will secretly hope for the same.

Not ALL of everyone associated with the MVC cheers for WSU in the Tournament, or in the non-conference. You can't make that blanket statement because I've seen posts celebrating WSU's loss to VCU in the first round in 2012 and other games that had overwhelming benefit to the rest of the league. Call it 'The Yankees Syndrome'.
