65-92 in regular season, 2-8 in St. Louis - a whopping .401 win percentage.

Pretty hard to say anything good about that record. If anyone thinks that this is a turn around year, wait until next year. Without Mock, and DJ, it's a Thursday team in the making.

That OOC record will look good again though. We saw how badly Marty wanted to boost his record to save his job and the OOC he put together. Can't wait to see how many SWAC/MEAC/NEC teams are on that schedule next year.

If Creighton was still in the MVC instead of Loyala, we would be staring 7-7 straight in the face.

No one wants to get sent to the NIT, but it isn't chopped liver either, especially if you can make a deep run.

Wow, a comparison to NIT vs NCAA. I get what Marshall is saying, but that concludes that making the NIT would then equal a "deep run". Far from a guarantee.

I'll take my chances in the NCAA given we haven't been since 1998, especially considering there is no guarantee of making it to NY for the final 4 in the NIT to make it worthwhile.

Besides, from a marketing and exposure standpoint, even a first round exit in the NCAAs gets you visibility with recruits, boosters, and a growth in the fan base.

Again, I'll take NCAA over NIT 100x out of 100

Wow, you are truly unintelligent. Get a diploma and come back to talk to me....this was never a discussion about Illinois State's current postseason prospects, only hypothetical.

Go to school, then read through this, then talk to me again.
