Only 4 games left in conference --

Who does everyone believe is the most improved player from last year in the Valley?

My Most Improved Player:
1. MiKyle McIntosh
2014/2015 stats - 5.8 pts, 4.2 rebounds per game
2015/2016 stats - 11.2 pts, 5.1 rebounds per game

Runners up (in no particular order):
Jaylon Brown - Evansville
Bennett Koch - Northern Iowa
Zach Brown - Wichita St
Shaq Morris - Wichita St.
Deontae Hawkins - Illinois State
Sean O'Brien - Southern Illinois

The Bears Chris Kendrix deserves consideration. He's almost doubled his scoring output from last year to 12 ppg and significantly improved his rebounding as well.

Bola Olaniyan also perhaps in the discussion.


2015-2016: 7.4 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 59.5 fg%, 66.2 ft%, .8 apg, 1 spg, .2 bpg.
2015-2015: 4.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 44.7 fg%, 60.4 ft%, .5 apg, .7 spg, .2 bpg.

I would say Jeremy Morgan has made a pretty big improvement especially offensively.

I like Bola. I've often wondered why he doesn't block more shots though?

He would never win the award since his stats don't show his value, but Tony Wills on ISU is greatly improved over last year. The glue guy for our team, plays good defense, makes good decisions, and scores a little when he has the opportunity.

Bradley sophomore Donte Thomas has gotten a lot better--he also plays a lot more than last season.

He averaged 2.5 pts and 2.5 rebs a game last year and shot 33% from the field.

This year he is at 8.6 and 5.5 in league games and shooting 44% from the field.

Yeah had a bounce back game today. There is something about Loyola for UNI this year. Only team so far to sweep us.
