Honestly, and this can become a new thread since it's not a Feb 24th game, but I hope ISUr is competitive on Saturday, but loses.

I have no confidence in beating WSU 3x in a season and would much rather lose this one and then beat them in the championship at Arch.

This board is a million times better once you list him as a "foe". It's ridiculous the mods haven't weeded him out as he continuously breaks the "trolling" they're supposedly against.

Now, I don't see any of his posts except when people are quoting him and calling him out... which happens a lot.

Getting back to the basketball... with the intensity ISU has played down the stretch, I can see us winning 3 in St. Louis. Of course, I think there are 5 teams that can win in St. Louis so it's anyone's tournament.

Moderator-MVCFans likes unique visitors and page views. Championz provides that traffic as it provides the leaderboard banners you see at the top of the page (provided thru Google). He gets paid for that.

What he doesn't realize is by moderating a user or blocking a user, it would increase his unique visitors drastically across more fan bases and thus his value as a website for more ad dollars in his pocket.


As for your 2nd comment - 4 teams can win. WSU, UE, ISUr, UNI (SIU is done).

Yes, one would assume that the moderators know getting rid of 1 problem and increasing potential traffic could have a positive effect on your bottom line, but the way this is run I can't attribute that to them.

By your own admission you stated your only reason for signing up was because of me. Judging by all the posting and traffic in here when I'm around, it would appear that I provide an uptick to the site.

The site seems to slow down a bit after Illinois State loses or I stop posting for a bit.

Let's see if we can get this to a third page! I think there's a chance!
