Gregg doesn't waste his time on players like Simmons because they don't know how to share the ball and play team basketball. His reputation precedes him and he doesn't make others around him better. He wants the ball all the time.

Besides to compare Simmons with Mock is laughable. Apples and oranges.

You don't get it. You keep arguing POY using your teams stats and record. I'm not comparing Mock to Simmons. I'm stating that player of year can be anyone who dominated the conference as a PLAYER.

Simmons is my example. His team sucks but he will probably be SEC poy.

Your argument of WSU dominated so POY must come from there makes no sense given WSU is a team, not a specific player.

Again FVV is poy, but your logic for why is completely off base. Hence my question, where did you go to school?

You can ask dumb and dumber (ShoxMVC and Champ) the same questions.

Does this board have a policy on name calling? Because this particular poster does it on command. And what makes it more embarrassing is that all said poster does is call other posters "immature" and trolling. Irony.

Actually stats-wise they are pretty comparable. Mock has more RB and blocks, Simmons has 3 ppg more and 5 assists.

Everything else is a wash, including minutes (Mock 32 - BS 36)
Mock had one of his best games of the year @ Arkansas.

What is the possibility of a FVV-Mock co-POY?

As you said FVV will be POY, more than likely. He was the best player in the MVC in 2015-16 when you look at his stats and use BBIQ judgement when you see him play, in addition to how he made his team better to contribute to the team results. Question...why are you so interested in where certain people went to school? Aren't you proud of your education at Clown State University? No, wait a minute...if that info got out to Missouri State fans, they would print shirts making fun of you. That might put you over the edge.

I suppose it's possible and given the way voting is done in this conference I might even suggest it's close to likely. Mock is a great player and has unbelievable stat lines. Does he have NBA potential? That's the only reason why I laughed at the comparison. The stats however are definitely comparable but that doesn't always tell the whole story. He is however definitely a player I would've liked on my team.

Okay stop name calling, etc. for a second to show my stance considering it's getting lost in translation with our bickering.

My point was that although your team stats worked out this time with FVV winning in both of our opinion, those "logical" stats for Wichita as a TEAM have no bearing on the actual results of the Player of the Year award. Ben Simmons was my example for a player from a team who won't win the conference as going to win the POY. At this point, Buddy Hield will be in the same boat with Oklahoma, given KU will probably win that conference as well.

So your logical stance that you kept pushing, had no bearing other than to boast about your team's success. You just got lucky that this year, FVV is the winner.

Wait, a Wichita fan insulting another schools degree? 95.8% admission rate.

Can't get into any other school in the Valley? Go to Wichita.
