"Might have been intended" -- however I notice you don't deny that it was directed to Marshall. I somehow doubt that Altman would be considered a "nut case" -- maybe a "whiner" or a "complainer". I think I would characterize McKenna more along the lines of a "quitter" or "Oh Gawd Dana, I don't like being in charge."

Someone is awfully sensitive about their nut case.

Yea except for Kyle Weems' Mom, she is a real nut case.

There are several nut cases around the league.

I don't have a nut case to be sensitive about. However I am very happy to let this thread get back on track. Go Missouri State.

Wow. Never thought I would see the day where SIU and WSU would pick MSU to win the conference if their team could not...I wouldn't pick SIU or WSU, that is for sure.

I would go with Evansville or Bradley.

They are looking out for the best interest of the rest of the league. If we win the Valley outright (first time ever which is sad) then we have a shot to possibly get 2 teams in, assuming the Bears got to the finals and lost...I certainly HATE the Shockers, but I would have to say that if the Bears can't win it, then it would be best for the Shox to win the league (then lose in STL) - I agree that it is tough to say that you would be for WSU though!

Well, the original post and title don't specify just this year so why couldn't it be Evansville winning the title and then losing in STL?

But I do get that he was talking about this year so it would make sense for them to pick MSU. Still doesn't change my vote though!

This year it would be MSU. That'd give us the best shot at 2 teams in March.

Generally speaking, I would choose Illinois State.

I thought the idea was to pick a team that "could" win the Valley.

Well, chalk up another Shocker who pulls for MSU, anytime. Behind Ill St, it wouldn't surprise me that the Bears would be next among Shocker fans.

I, and those I've been with, have been treated great by Bears fans in Springfield.
