Think Scottie James actually looked pretty decent for BU. Could be one that got away. :|

For sure...he's the one that could look bad losing long term. But he's from Florida and would probably fit in real well at Dunk City FGCU as an example.

But at the same time, he's one of those kids that needs reps to reach his potential, and Bradley needs wins.

Does the Gargoyle fan base expect any more departures?

None are expected, but if we lose another player along the way, I don't think too many would be surprised from the standpoint we're used to it by this point.

How many incoming recruits has Wardle signed?

Until today we were over-committed by 1.

But at present we have 2 LOIs: Koch Bar and Nate Kennell; 2 verbals from PGs: Darrell Brown from Memphis and Jayden Hodgson from Australia (currently at a FL academy).

So, we have 2 open assuming both commits sign. We're looking immediate impact JUCO, but the 2017 class in Illinois is supposed to be loaded, so unless it's a 5th year grad transfer, it's unlikely we'd fill any further schollies this spring with HS or DI transfer.

Good info, thanks squirrel. I am a big fan of Wardle and think he is the perfect guy to oversee the rebuild.

Hopefully you guys can continue to stock the cupboard.

Scottie James has ability. Real ability. He needs a place closer to home in Florida and a place not as structured. As mentioned, an FGCU type place. He could be a real good player in the Atlantic Sun.

The other two weren't MVC level guys.

With the final two rides Bradley has two JUCO 3/4 type guys and a prep school 2/3 guy. I imagine the two rides will come from that trio--unless none like the campus, etc. I know the two JUCO's highest on Wardle's list are both playing at the National Tournament in Hutchinson this week.

Couldn't understand what Wardel was thinking signing that many Frosh last year; it was inevitable he'd have a high turnover rate. And given he might add more frosh and then also jucos who might play over guys who saw action as frosh, but now sit as sophmores, there could be more. At some point could this become a problem with the graduation score issue that often rears it head when you have too many guys not staying and finishing. Counzo had a little problem with that his first year at MSU taking a number of questionable frosh to fill his roster and then having significant turnover both his 1st two spring/summers.
