Sure UNI has had good years and down years over the past decade, but i think anyone saying they haven't been "solid" is insane. Since 2006, UNI has never been below .500 and is 116-73 (61.4%) with an average finish of 3.4th and 4 NCAA tourney wins.
Yes they have down years, 16-15 is not a good year for UNI right now. But it's all about perspective. 16-15 would be a great year for Bradley right now. Having a 16-15 year for UNI is not ideal, but it gets balanced out by making a sweet 16 and making the round of 32 twice sandwiching it.
I think pretty clearly that in recent history, Wichita has clearly had the best program, UNI has clearly had the second best program, and then blehhhh has had 3-10.
