Drake picks up 2017 point guard

Teyvian Kirk, point guard from Joliet, IL committed to Drake today. Also had offers from Duquense, UTEP, SIU among others. Ranked as top 15 player in Illinois and one of the top point guards in the state.

He is a pretty good player. MVC level for sure.

Not surprisingly, Kirk has asked for, and been granted his release from Drake.

Kid has had a huge senior season so far, and I expect him to be a very hot commodity this spring.

I think he still ends up in the Valley but not at Drake sadly.
