Congrats on you prayer to beat Creighton at home but that Bears team you are expecting to walk over took Creighton by double digits in Omaha my gues is Bears get pissed cause your branches are trying to block their sunlight most likely the trees get cut down pressed into paper and have the boxscore printed on the Bears 76 Trees 68

I think Indiana States 6-1 record will turn to 6-3 pretty quickly...

I am not saying Indiana State is just as good as when Bird was there...I just think that people saying ISU blue is terrible and is a paper tiger is a little too soon of an idea...we will see the MSU game will tell us alot about the trees...

Looking at schedules and records, I'm still going with CU in 3rd place at the end of the season InSU might hold out for sole possession of 4th, depending on what UNI does.

Both MSU and WSU took out CU in Omaha by double digits. There is every indication of a significant gap between MSU/WSU and the rest of the league.

Both WSU and MSU are likely to lose a head-scratcher - ala UNI and WSU's losses to UE last year. Chances are that head-scratcher isn't going to be against InSU because their soft early schedule made them appear to be a contender. Both WSU and MSU want to knock InSU out of contention, and that's not a way to sneak up and beat a better team.

Double digit W for MSU.

I'm expecting a great effort from ISUb Wed. night. It wouldn't shock me to see them win the game, but what the Shocker fans say is very true. They're going to have to win some road games to be taken seriously, and they have some truly horrific losses.

The good news: they'll get their shot to prove they're for real. No one believed in Drake a few years back and they ran away with it.

I'm expecting the Bears to grind out another win, and ISUb to not have any answer for Creekmore underneath. Just too many weapons for the Bears.

Just my 2 cents, I have to say I was more impressed with Creighton, however ISU was without Kelly and Lathan left early with the concussion. Creighton was also a lot tougher physical matchup for us. We dont have the size to deal with 2 big men. Having said that, ISU has won the games they've played (except for one, I dont remember which.....) and that's all they can do. In a way, it's an enviable position, 6-1 and no one taking you seriously. The coach can play the "respect" card, hell if the fans think this way, who's to say an opponent might not as well. As a fan, it would drive me crazy too, but really if the trees keep winning it will all take care of itself.

If you wanted some respect you shouldn't have lost to the Loyola Chicago, E. Kentucky, Ball St of the world

Sorry...It seems to be easier to beat MVC teams. Sycamores really don't need your respect, they just want to keep beating you.

They ended up 9-9 on the season.

Carter better shoot 75% 3's the rest of the way to meet the Tree faithful expectations.

Nice memory of UE basketball. That season was 97-98. We started off 8-1 finished 9-9. That was Wilson's Jr year. The following year we won the league.

My personal feeling is that ISUb will finish probably 4th when its all said and done (which isnt bad at all). They could even beat MSU tomorrow night and take the conference lead for a brief fleeting moment. But once all the dust is settled and they go on the road to places like MSU, WSU, UNI and CU the dominos will begin to fall. Protecting your home floor should be expected no matter who the opponent, and nobody's going to give you a blue ribbon for winning games there. The real test is repeating it on the road in hostile enviornments. Go win even one game at any of those 4 places above and I'll be happy to give you your due. Until then, I'd think about laying low so you don't get your head shot off.
