I am sure the Ugly Dawgs have already marked a "W" on the wall and are preparing for the next game. Just old Evansville with their slow, plodding guards, clumsy big men, and no bench. Easy win for the Salukis.

I think that its probably been a couple of years since any salukis have marked a "W" on the wall before a game has taken place.

Thank god we finally have a bench, or SIU would really be able to pencil this win in.

Isn't this a battle for 6th and trying to stay away from Thursday? MSU, WSU, InSt, CU, UNI seem to be ahead of us.

Yes, you are correct. My approach takes into account certain teams winning and losing, putting the Aces in the hunt for 5th place if we can win the next two.

Should be a low scoring, hard fought game. This could be another nice step for UE. I am pretty sure UE has not won two back to back road conference games since they won the league back in 99. I hope I am wrong with that stat cause that is down right awful. It seems as if you can hold Fay down and Brown-Surless doesn't have a career game shooting the ball, see UNI game, then this game will be there for the taking. SIU shoots just 30% from 3. And just 40% from the field in league play. While UE shoots 34% from behind the arc and 45% from the field. SIU seems to turn the ball over a little more then UE, which was the dagger in the UE-ISU game. However, SIU rebounds the ball much better then UE. Throw in SIU playing at home and it should be a very tight game.

Feeling good about it though.

Need to add, UE is shooting a woeful 26% in conference from 3's.

31-24 SIU at half. With stood a 17-0 run to cut it to 7

SIU has too much quickness tonight. Poor shooting by the Aces or it would be even at this point.
