I'm not sure how not accepting their "smack" talk about how good they are is arrogance.

Their non-conference performance was crap and it hurt the MVC. They have won against a bunch of 200+ RPI - woo hoo. They are about to be embarrassed wednesday night.

"Their" implies plural. I have seen one ISU person in this thread talk smack. Just one. And he is believed to be a high school kid.

But I have seen several posters from other teams come on here and say they are bad cause they lost some non conference games or they have not played anyone in conference. They can only play the conference schedule handed to them. Right now, they sit at 6-1 and tied for 2nd place. I guess that makes some fans uneasy and perhaps threatned. Again, at the end of the year they may wend up 9-9 but right now they have the right to be proud.

Do they have the right to be as proud, more proud, or less proud than Illinois State had the right to be after an 8-3 non conference start?

This is somewhat surprising. I added current standing to the list to make it easier to compare.

WSU and ISU-blue have both only played 2 teams in the top half of the standings. WSU's opponents average standing is 6.71 while ISU's opponents average standing is 7.42.

A lot can change between now and February 26th though...

No, that's wrong. Aargh is correct. It has been changed for this year. see this: http://www.pjstar.com/sports/x188285835 ... alley-ties

Indiana State is waiting......for MSU. Indiana State is no slouch and they will not lay down for anyone. We are going to be at the top all season, and you better get used to seeing us up there as long as we have Greg Lansing as our coach. We are on our way back to the 2000-2002 years, and we aren't that far off. I would be scared if I were you, if I saw Indiana State on my schedule. We aren't going to shy away from Weems or Creekmore, we are going to be ready and we are going to show you we belong and we are going nowhere. Indiana State.

The game is on TV for people in the Terre Haute area. Good Luck to the rest of the MVC.....except WSU and MSU....watch out!!!!

That's the only comment I can agree with at this point. You are going nowhere.
