3 more games tonight, let's get 3 wins. IPFW vs. Illinois State will be interesting, we all know what happened last season when a SL team played in Normal.

That would be a great start.

Drake fans are fairly certain that if Giacoletti goes, the AD will go as well. She has seriously missed on both of her men's basketball hires. Attendance is at an all-time low, less than half of what it was even during the Phelps years. The Des Moines area has about twice as many people as it did when I was in school, and Drake's attendance is less than 25% of what it was then. If the won-loss record doesn't cause a change to be made, the attendance certainly should.

ISU up 41-24 at half over Fort Wayne (preseason pick to win Summit League). We played very well first half just have to come out strong and put them away in 2nd half. Fort Wayne has some good guards including Brenton Scott's twin

Yes SIU is up big at half but we look terrible. 16 fouls and 12 Turnovers against a D2 school is unforgivable. Smithpeters is out for 3 weeks and we are seriously lacking in the rebounding category (losing our top rebounder to a power 6 school has killed us). I feel real bad for the Valley if we are in the 4,5, or 6 range. I'd expect 9th right now if this is an average MVC year.

Morris is good when he can stay out of foul trouble. He scored 8 tonight on 4-4 from the floor in not a lot of minutes (foul trouble). Nurger is going to have some good stats just due to PT. 9 points tonight.

Willis is a handful. He may not start any games, but he is skilled! 16 and 7 tonight.

Brown and McDuffie are downright dirty! Best SF in the MVC? I don't know, but Morgan, McIntosh, McDuffie and Brown are four of the top 10 at any position. Brown with 15, 5, and 3; McDuffie with 18, 7, and 4.

Shamet, Frankamp, and Smith were 0-12 from the floor on the night (combined 7 assists to 2 TOs), but Austin Reaves with another electrifying performance. 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists doesn't scream FOY, but he is special!

Reaves is the real deal IF he can keep those shoulders healthy as he gets banged around pretty good.

Really strong defense continues to lead the way.
