They're the Arizona State of the SEC.

I can honestly say I thought WSU would be a little down this year, good, but not like the past couple years.
Wrong deduction.

Remarkable win, complete dominance. Wished we could've seen a Wichita vs Creighton game this year. AAC needs to go after this program

Shox hang on for the 34 pt win. Louisville should be a much tougher game.

The LSU-Arizona State comparison was a good one. LSU is an SEC bottom feeder and WSU handed it to them. I'll be curious to see how many times LSU loses by 35+ though.

More importantly, this one gives WSU 2 automatic RPI boosters to finish the tournament.

Anytime an MVC team beats a BCS opponent by 30+ points we should all be impressed. Nice job fellas. Now go kick Pitino's A$$,

Envious of your program WSU...

Marshall can recruit
Marshall gets everyone to buy into the "Play Angry" mantra
Marshall gets the most out of his players every year.

Meanwhile, Dan Muller gets.....well....calls in the middle of the night about a player being arrested???

1. WSU hasn't shown any yet, so we will say their weakness is a lack of competition.
2. ISUr is a severe lack of depth.
3. UNI maybe youth at the point? Pretty salty team, so that's all I can come up with.
4. MSU is interior defense
5. LUC is a lack of height

Overall, this might be our strongest top 5 in years.

You don't think post play is a WSU weakness? Have Nurger and Shaq Morris improved that much? As good as the Shox were last year I thought those 2 were very underwhelming and a real weakness.

u are rt. post play will be awful.

No where did I say WSU's post play would be awful. I simply said it was a concern. If you think Morris and Nurger were dominant post players last year then you are watching a different game than me.

Nice win for WSU today. Keep it going. Hope my Bears can take out DePaul tonight.

Shaq absolutely showed he could be dominant last year. The only thing that stopped him were fouls and even that wasn't as bad late in the year.

Nobody expect Rauno to be dominant, but he had shown decent ability and I figured he'd get stronger and be a solid backup and I believe that's happened. He looked good as a FR prior to getting really sick and losing a lot of weight. Last year he was going to RS to get stronger but when Grady went down he ended up playing and showed a fair amount of progress by the end of the year.

I can't speak for all Shocker fans, but I felt pretty good about the post going into this season. My question was PG. Frankamp is a more natural SG, though he shoots better off the bounce as opposed to catch and shoot. He may end up being an alright PG but I'm not going to come to any conclusions yet. Smith is a JC guy but has a lot of potential, but JC guys normally take a bit to adapt. I love Reaves and have been excited about him since we signed him, but I figured his slight build would limit him this year.

I'm no longer overly concerned about PG, but I still think that is probably the biggest potential weakness right now on this team. And I don't think it's that big of a weakness and it will get stronger throughout the year. The surprise in the post has been Hamilton. He's not playing a lot, but he looks much better than he did last year and not quite as lost, though those moments still happen.
