If there has been a "bright spot" for Bradley of late it is the play of young guards Dyricus Simms Edwards and Walt Lemon, Jr. Both guys are really athletic and do a nice job getting to the basket. Of course they are flawed when it comes to shooting the ball but there is some hope there.
Jays fans--with the talent on your roster how are you not better?

Josh Jones gets the start after not even playing a few games ago. He responds by hitting four of six from three and playing well. Josh was just starting to play well at the end of last year. It has taken him longer than others to catch on to what McDermott wants out of him. If he can turn the corner and give some solid minutes and socre 8-12 a game the rest of the way, CU will be improved. Echinique is becoming more comfortable in beating the double team. Granted, Bradleys bigs aren't as good as some we have faced, but Echinique is going to be a beast to deal with in the second half of the season. 5-7 from the field and more importantly, 7-7 from the charity stripe.
O.k., three things:
Every coach who looks at CU game film and does not come into a game against CU with a plan to spread the floor and drive to the rim time after time after time should be immediately fired. I continue to be amazed at how horrible we are at stopping dribble penetration. Had Bradley done that the entire game, they would have scored 80 points. MSU, WSU and even Drake did that to us time and time again. I know much of that stems from the type of players Altman was recruiting over the last few years. I sure hope McDermott recruits some guys with some ability to move laterally.
o.k., four things: McDermott with another double-double.
