Don't worry I'll be leading the Loyola bandwagon all the way to St. Louis.

Sadly, some already have their pitchforks in hand.

Seriously!?!? What a shame. I'm a big believer in Wardle; give him some freakin' time!

Thankfully none of the pitchfork holder's are in any positions of control over anything. Wardle should not and is not going anywhere in the near future...except to the NCAA tournament.

Agreed , BW has his dancing shoes in the closet. I wonder how long he will wait to bust them out?

Loyola is a lesson in how important the opening game of a MTT is.

Lose to St Joe's and you're trapped on the wrong side of the bracket with 2 useless games. A win there would've meant Ole Miss, and possibly a signature win chance against Creighton. Instead, Oral Bob and Wazzu are going to sink the SoS. And in fact, Loyola got screwed by drawing St Joe's to begin with, because NC State or Ole Miss in game 1 would've been better for them.

They're also getting boned by SDSU's descent into the abyss.

This is so true. I'll go back to not posting.

Good. Thanks. That will help me go back to assuming there aren't actually any Loyola fans.

100% agreed on the tourney; and i'm willing to bet the team wouldn't shoot 39% from the field and 22% from 3 if forced to play them again. It's crazy frustrating. Would have loved to have Ole Miss and a chance to go 2-0 against the Blue Jays. But the fact of the matter is we didn't do that and didn't finish the job against NC. I would love to see us do well in conference; maybe steal a game against Wichita and sneak in the NIT; but sadly that may be a tough ask as well unless our opponents start performing better (regardless it's also still important for us to prove this isn't a mirage and continue this quality of play in conference).

One more side frustration about the SOS. SDS was ranked number 24 in ESPN's power rankings (ultimately a meaningless ranking but still noteworthy) prior to the LU game. But hasn't won since we beat them at home. I know the Aztecs were upset after the game so I like to think that we broke them; but uhhh... yikes. I expect them to turn it around with their last two non-con games though.

Non-conference schedules are tricky. Even well-intentioned ones can turn into crap-heaps, much like WSU's this year.

Don't be so certain that some of most disgruntled may have the ear of the current administration. Let's not forget we went all Hickory in hiring all aww-shucksy alums in the admin to placate many of those who are already vocally expressing their displeasure.

SIU got lucky one year and three of the four favorites all lost and ended up in the loser's bracket.
